Safety

• Never leave a candle or scented burner burning unattended.
• Keep burning candles or scented burners away from children and pets.
• Do not leave a candle or scented burner lit for more than 3 hours at a time.
• Place a candle or scented burner on a heat-resistant flat surface and away from things that could be flammable.
• Please note that the candle holder or scented burner can get very hot. So it is best to put a suitable saucer under it to protect the surface.
• Do not place a lit candle or scented burner in a space that is too small and provide adequate ventilation.
• Extinguish a candle if it smokes, the flame is too high, or if you think the flame is too close to the edge of the candle holder. Preferably do this with a candle cover. 
• If you have several candles or scented burners burning, place them at least 10 inches apart.
• It is important, before re-lighting a candle, to trim the wick a bit. Cotton wicks are best trimmed to 0.5 cm. Wooden blades may be allowed to be shorter if necessary. This is best done with a cradle trimmer.  Take special care to remove pieces of wick from the pot before lighting a candle. And wash your hands once afterward.
• Remember that some people are sensitive to odors and can react quite strongly to them.
• Geuroils are obviously not intended for internal use.
